As a Supply Chain Excellence Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading End to End Supply Chain Operations with a focus on lean management, six sigma, digitalization and automation, to increase profit contribution and process efficiency. You will be responsible for managing and organizing all activities related to the products and goods that the business maintains and supplies to its customers. The role begins with identifying resources and materials and ends with the purchase of goods by customers; it includes steps such as acquisition of the product, production, and distribution. This position plans resources and actions to meet safety, lean metrics, and business goals, while providing efficient execution of daily tactical activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of current Supply Chain processes within the Vendor Risk Supply Chain team and support the Business Excellence (BE) program.
  • Work on various Business Excellence projects across all plants, identifying optimization opportunities that lead to significant savings.
  • Shortlist projects in collaboration with BE consultants and develop business cases, presenting them to HODs and senior management for approval.
  • Support the development of Project Charters post-approval and work with cross-functional teams for project implementation.
  • Streamline workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate operation excellence principles into the Demand/Supply risk management lifecycle.

You bring

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management and supply chain-related projects within the Food & Beverage, FMCG, or Chemical manufacturing Industries
  • Minimum 5 years of team management experience
  • Prior experience of Business Case Development for Senior Management in areas of manufacturing / Supply Chain / Projects
  • Logical and systematic approach to planning, Decision-making, Problem-solving, Analytical thinking and good Communication skills
  • Good level of knowledge and practicing Continuous Improvement Tools like Lean / Six sigma / Kaizen
