O-I Glass, Inc. is currently offering a career opportunity for a Furnace Operator at O-I Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and controlling furnace operations, as well as monitoring its condition to prevent potential damage.

Work Location:

Cakung, East Jakarta

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain stable furnace operations, optimize fuel consumption, and perform repairs when necessary
  • Conduct routine inspections and record furnace conditions
  • Ensure safety and maintain cleanliness of the work area

General Qualifications:

  • Diploma (D2, D3, or D4) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. However, having 1-2 years of experience in a glass manufacturing company or working in furnace-related areas will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in operating computer systems (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge or understanding of fire safety is preferable
  • Ability to adapt to shift work cycles
