Job Description:
As an Operational Manager for Lissey Laundry, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service to customers, and optimizing operational efficiency. You will lead the team, plan and manage the budget, and ensure all processes meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all laundry processes, from intake to delivery.
- Maintain high standards of laundry service, including cleanliness, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise the operational team, including scheduling, training, and employee development.
- Manage the inventory of supplies (detergents, laundry equipment, etc.) and ensure the availability of operational tools.
- Plan and monitor the operational budget and ensure resource efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for equipment maintenance or service needs.
- Monitor team performance and provide solutions to operational issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on operational performance, including productivity metrics and financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and implement better operational procedures.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Operational Manager, preferably in commercial laundry, Hotel Laundry or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of laundry processes, including the use of machines, chemicals, and resource management.
- Excellent managerial skills, including team management and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
