We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager for our portfolio company with a strong background in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of marketing, including branding, activation, digital, community engagement, and channel marketing. This role is critical in driving customer engagement, brand awareness, and sales growth through multi-channel marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to strengthen the company's presence in the retail market.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, both online and offline.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitor benchmarking to position the brand competitively.

Campaign Activation:

  • Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, product, and sales) to develop impactful campaign activations.
  • Track and measure campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize future marketing efforts.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across social media, SEO, paid media, and email channels.
  • Oversee content creation, ensuring messaging resonates with target audiences and supports brand positioning.
  • Utilize digital analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, making necessary adjustments to improve KPIs such as engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.

Community Engagement:

  • Build and nurture a loyal community of customers through innovative community engagement programs.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to engage with customers and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Represent the brand at key retail industry events, fostering partnerships and networking opportunities.

Trade Marketing:

  • Develop and manage trade marketing initiatives to ensure optimal in-store visibility.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing initiatives with retail and channel strategies.
  • Drive channel-specific marketing efforts, including promotions, merchandising, and joint campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing within the retail industry, with proven success in branding, digital marketing, activation, and trade marketing.
  • Expertise in managing multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital, in-store, and trade marketing.
  • Strong understanding of retail consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
