As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we are looking for a Data Science Intern to join our team and help us derive insights from healthcare data.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Data Science Intern to join our team in Semarang. This is a full-time, on-site internship for a duration of 3 months, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. As a Data Science Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world healthcare data and develop interactive data applications using tools like Python and Streamlit.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards using Streamlit to communicate insights and help drive decision-making.
  • Data Integration: Help integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, etc.) to create comprehensive datasets for analysis.
  • Machine Learning: Explore and implement machine learning models to predict outcomes and optimize healthcare operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data processes, analysis, and results to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, AI, and healthcare technology.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Basic knowledge of Streamlit or an eagerness to learn and work with it for developing data applications.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Semarang full-time.

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for data storage and machine learning.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
