Job Summary

The Sales Training Supervisor at BYD Indonesia is responsible for analyzing training needs, and developing and implementing comprehensive training plans to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team. This role involves creating and localizing training materials, conducting courses, coaching, and empowering students. This position will track and evaluate training outcomes, provide feedback, and continuously optimize the training process. Additionally, the position requires identifying key product selling points, developing foreign language skills, and supporting sales targets through problem-solving and process improvements. In this role you will also handle other tasks as assigned by their superior, ensuring the alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals.

Job Descriptions:

  • Conduct training needs analysis, and develop comprehensive sales training plans aligned with company goals.
  • Create engaging training materials, localize content for the Indonesian market, and ensure cultural relevance.
  • Deliver impactful training sessions, utilizing various methodologies. Coach and empower sales personnel for improved performance.
  • Track training effectiveness, collect feedback, and continually improve training programs based on data and analysis.
  • Identify and mine product selling points. Promote the development of foreign language skills (English & Mandarin) to enhance sales capabilities.
  • Analyze sales targets, identify performance issues, and develop solutions to optimize training impact and sales results.
  • Manage training projects effectively, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership to ensure a successful sales training program.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Language-related fields preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in training, sales management, or a related field within the automotive industry (automotive sales experience preferred).
  • Excellent training and teaching skills, with the ability to effectively design, deliver, and evaluate sales training programs.
  • Strong data analysis, content production, and curriculum development skills to create engaging and impactful training materials.
  • Possess some sales skills and a solid understanding of sales principles relevant to the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite, AI tools, and video editing/shooting software for multimedia training content creation.
  • Experience in managing training projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation (preferred).
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (Mandarin is a plus).
