Job Description for Sales Manager:

  • Solicit Business for the hotel, meet budget targets, and achieve room-night and revenue objectives.
  • Maximize profit opportunities, analyze all sources of business and develop those with the highest profit potential.
  • Work with other personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the department, and ensure that every staff member carries out their duties accordingly.
  • Report to the Assistant Director of Sales any complaints, comments or suggestions received from guests or the general public that may improve the ASTON International propertys services and products.
  • Conduct market survey and gather marketing intelligence on competitors to pass on to the Director of Sales so that he is kept well informed of market developments.
  • Participate in trade shows and sales promotions assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • Travel to Source Markets to Solicit business and establish and / or develop relationships with key customers and accounts.
  • Maintain positive relationships with travel agents, commercial accounts, and other sources of business for the Hotel.
  • Coordinate functions in the hotel that relate to sales, incentives, etc.
  • Communicate daily with the Front Office and Food and Beverage Departments to ensure that customers are receiving the highest level of service possible.


Job Requirements:

  • Experienced in similar position for min. 2 years

  • Able to maintain a high level of performance
