Regulatory Compliance Specialist (Great Eastern Life Indonesia)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual review on Policies/ Guidelines and prepare to identify (new) risks (if any) and provide in the Compliance Obligation Report (such as Compliance Event, Risk Event, Business Continuity Management, Fair Dealing Indicator Report, Board of Director Pack, Financial Conglomeration pertaining to Regulatory Compliance).
• Provide workplan to execute all aspects of GELI's Regulatory affairs on day-to-day basis and execute directions based on priorities.
• Review all compliance requirements in the structuring of transactions and development of new products and/or channel; compliance issues and compliance risks associated with transactions and products and/or channel and mitigating measures for the same proposed by Regulatory Compliance.
• Maintain Compliance budget pertaining to Regulatory Compliance (if any) including monitoring expenditure, recommending and instituting budget revisions, business trips and trainings in order to ensure the Compliance expenses shall not exceed the approved budget.
• Provide support in conduction socialization/briefing/training as part of Compliance Program Activities for staffs as well as oversee the responsibility on staff's supervision, replacement requisition, new hire, trainings and development on request/if necessary.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects or assignments as assigned by superior and Board of Director.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor's degree Law or Economic degree would be an advantage.
• Candidate must have at least minimum 5 years' experience in financial industry, having experience in insurance area is preferable.
• Candidate must be a responsible and professional person, proactive and initiative, having high integrity in delivering the best quality of work.
• Regulatory knowledge relating to the financial services, preferably relating to insurance regulations.
• Good understanding of business acumen (commercial and insurance business).
