We are looking for a skilled and imaginative Copywriter to join our fast-paced digital creative agency. As a Copywriter, you will work alongside art director, designers, marketing teams and other related divisions to produce engaging, impactful, and effective content for a variety of mediums. Your primary goal is to develop clear, compelling, and brand-consistent copy that inspires audiences and drives results. The candidates must have a passion for storytelling, are brimming with fresh ideas, and can easily switch between different tones of voice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative and other related teams to brainstorm and develop original, innovative ideas for marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Write clear, persuasive, and compelling copy for a range of content types including web pages, email marketing, product descriptions, presentations, taglines, and more.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of each client's brand voice, ensuring all content aligns with their tone, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to craft creative messages that align with marketing objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Edit and proofread all content to ensure consistency, accuracy, grammar, and adherence to client briefs. Ensure all copy meets the highest standard of quality and is free of errors.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and creative briefings to fully understand their objectives, audience, and creative needs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform creative decisions. Conduct background research on products, services, and target audiences as needed.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Copywriter in a creative agency or similar environment.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven ability to write creative and impactful copy across various media formats.
- Exceptional storytelling and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research skills and the ability to understand complex information and translate it into engaging copy.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to work well in a team environment.
- Experience writing for various audiences and adapting tone/voice to fit the client’s brand.
- Creative thinker with the ability to come up with new and innovative ideas.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and refine ideas based on client or internal team feedback.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a larger creative team.
