You will utilise your expertise in supplier processes to optimise costs and implement productivity projects. Your ability to master supplier Cost Models and run benchmarking exercises will be key to your success. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the TRANSVERSAL OPTIMISATION and AGILITY of the whole Value Chain, working closely with both suppliers and internal stakeholders. Your excellent stakeholder management skills will enable you to grow the Purchasing Share of Voice among stakeholders, while also creating preferred customer relationships with strategic suppliers.
The ideal candidate for this Sourcing Manager (Packaging) role brings a wealth of knowledge about packing material, their manufacturing processes, and printing technologies. Your high standard of integrity and cooperative attitude set you apart as a professional. Your excellent stakeholder skills are complemented by your experience working in a matrix organisation. A graduate degree in Chemistry or post-graduate degree from a Packaging institute is required, along with a strong background in Sourcing of packaging for 4-6 years. Your experience in the FMCG sector has given you a good understanding of market & suppliers.

- Accountability for purchasing performance
- Formulating recommendations based on Supplier P&L analysis or company P&L
- Optimising costs through knowledge of supplier processes and implementation of productivity projects
- Mastering supplier Cost Models and running internal & external benchmarking
- Building cost forecasts for a category and managing KPIs
- Supporting TRANSVERSAL OPTIMISATION and AGILITY of the whole Value Chain in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Managing stakeholder relationships and growing Purchasing Share of Voice among stakeholders
- Creating a preferred customer relationship with strategic suppliers
- Driving supplier performance improvements based on 5 pillars: CSR, quality, service, innovation, competitiveness
- Organising and gathering market knowledge, proposing action plans to benefit from market opportunities
