Incharge to uses software to change designs from architects or Designers into technical/working drawings. Most workers in the architectural, civil, electrical or mechanical fields use technical drawings ranging from objects as small as microchips to things as large as skyscrapers.
- Create design plans using CAD (Computer Aided Design) software
- Work from raw drawings/rough sketches based on specifications and requirements made by architects or engineers.
- Designing a product using engineering and manufacturing techniques
- Add details to design drawings to make it easier to read the drawings.
- Determine and calculate the location, dimensions, weight, materials and procedures for the items to be worked on.
- Identify potential problems and review them with the engineering team.
- Ensure the final design complies with quality standards regulations.
- Revise working drawings based on client requirements.
- Work under the supervision of an architect or designers.
- Able to Design and create detailed 3D models using software assistance based on predetermined specifications is a plus
Job Requirements:
- S1 in Architecture and/or Design Interior and/or Civil Engineering, STM
- Experience in retail company or Consultant Design/Architecture min 1-3 years
- Able to work with Design Application CAD, 3D application (Sketchup/3Dmax/others), Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft
- Good communication in English
- Creativity. Drafters must be able to turn plans and ideas into technical drawings, also related to buildings, equipment and systems.
- Orientation to details. The drafter must take care that all drawings must be clear and easy to understand based on the specified specifications.
- Interpersonal Ability. Drafters work closely with architects, engineers and other designers to ensure the final plan is accurate. This requires the ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
- Ability to calculate. Drafters work on technical drawings. Where they are asked to calculate angles, weights, costs and other values.
- Technical ability. Drafters in all specialties must be able to use computer software such as CAD, and work with database tools, such as building information modeling (BIM)
- Timing ability. Drafters often work under deadlines. As a result, they must work efficiently to produce the required output according to the set schedule
