Employee Engagement: Ability to develop and implement strategies for employee motivation and retention.

Training & Development: Experience in organizing employee training, development programs, and succession planning.

HR Systems: Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and payroll systems.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with management, employees, and external parties.

Change Management: Ability to manage organizational changes, such as scaling up operations or workforce restructuring.

4.⁠ ⁠Roles & Responsibilities:

Overseeing the recruitment process, ensuring the right talent is hired to support manufacturing operations.

Developing HR policies that align with the company's goals, including performance evaluation, employee development, and compliance with labor laws.

Managing employee relations, handling grievances, and ensuring a positive work environment.

Ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety standards.

Supporting the implementation of manufacturing best practices and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Collaborating with management on workforce planning, compensation, and benefits administration.

5.⁠ ⁠Industry-Specific Knowledge:

Understanding of the unique challenges in a food manufacturing environment, such as working conditions, hygiene standards, shift work, and compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).

Familiarity with union management and collective bargaining agreements, if applicable.

6.⁠ ⁠Soft Skills:

High emotional intelligence to manage diverse teams.

Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
