Description

Responsibility for assisting the concentrated sales efforts of the Groups and Events Sales Team and to extend that assistance to other professional sales team members when requested.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves supporting the Groups & Events Manager and / or Director of Groups and Events, particularly in their absence. Key responsibilities include attending meetings and client events, managing event requests, applying MICE SOPs, optimizing meeting room usage, conducting site inspections, and identifying upsell opportunities to achieve budget goals. The position requires timely handling of inquiries, proposal creation, and ensuring smooth handover of bookings to the Event Manager. Additional tasks include conducting client exit interviews, cross-selling within the Kempinski Group, monitoring competition, reviewing performance, and performing various administrative duties as assigned. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs is essential.

Benefits


  • Indonesian citizen, ideally with a College degree in Hospitality required; university or hotel school education preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years in luxury hotels; experience in Groups & Events management, or Sales preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills in local language and English; additional languages beneficial.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera; strong computer literacy in Groups & Events.
