Job Description
- Analyze maintenance needs by considering the machine breakdown history and the maintenance task list.
- Develop a maintenance action plan tailored to the characteristics of each machine to ensure effective maintenance and prevent Break Down (BD) that causes Unplanned Stops (UPS).
- Create a maintenance schedule based on needs, repair history, and pending repairs.
- Analyze machine breakdowns (BDE) using IPS instruments for corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Compile and analyze loss time data from Break Downs (BD) that result in Unplanned Stops (UPS) during DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to follow up on Unplanned Stops (UPS) caused by machine defects (Defect Handling).
- Create a PM-Card (Progressive Maintenance) for each breakdown/finding to identify the root cause of machine issues and establish preventive measures to avoid similar problems.
- Conduct Health Checks on technical operators to ensure their knowledge, competencies, and procedures are in line with current regulations.
- Periodically review the maintenance schedule (MP&S) to improve machine effectiveness and efficiency for optimal performance.
- Provide training and technical skill development to Equipment Owners (Machine Operators) to enable them to perform troubleshooting and handle operational issues with the machines.
- Lead the deployment of the IWS/TPM system, focusing on autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement pillars.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to implement and sustain IWS/TPM practices, ensuring high equipment availability and operational excellence.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management, and solid understanding of rotogravure printing or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of IWS/TPM methodologies and proven experience in implementing TPM pillars (Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with a focus on employee development and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements in manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence change.
