About the Role

As an Asst Procurement Manager, you are responsible to make plans to procure and handle supplier selection process (construction materials, main contractor, and sub-contractor) to effectively and efficiently fulfill company's needs.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors (including contractors and sub-contractors).
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Controlling the procurement budget, monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand, and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
  • Preparing procurement reports.

What do we look for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven solid experience in managing Procurement operations minimal 5 years
  • Specialized in project procurement, handling contractors, sub-contractors, building materials, MEP, etc.
  • Fluent in Mandarin is a big plus point.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to be located in Head Office (Puri Kembangan, Jakarta Barat).
