Job Description

  • Ensure that new processes and products are qualified with suppliers, maintaining global standards for compliance with procedures and specifications.
  • Provide technical support to identify and mitigate risks related to design and use.
  • Ensure that products meet the intended design, quality, and durability standards, including components and sub-assemblies.
  • Assist in developing target and limit samples as needed.
  • Partner with suppliers to resolve issues and enhance product quality, design, and manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing, quality, and assembly, providing supplier support to maximize performance.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance, recommending actions for new products, including Corrective & Preventive Analysis (CAPA) and failure investigations.
  • Contribute technical knowledge to continuous improvement initiatives focused on boosting productivity and yield.
  • Support the identification of new materials, methods, and tools to enhance current processes or equipment.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of production processes to pinpoint key process parameters affecting yield and product performance.
  • Assist in studies aimed at stabilizing, characterizing, and optimizing critical process parameters.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Material, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience showcasing the skills listed above.
  • Experience with Soft Goods, particularly lifestyle products.
  • Expertise in manufacturing cut/sew processes.
  • Experience in improving Cut/Sew Processes.
  • Familiarity with Travel Gear or Lifestyle products (e.g., backpacks or luggage) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Finished Goods Testing is an advantage.
  • Experience with Golf Bag manufacturing and screen printing/logo processes is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English is essential
