PROTECTION SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical protection analysis work activities, network safety testing and inspection, both routine and repair to ensure the distribution of electricity from the power plant to the customer, runs smoothly, safely and reliably.

• Ensuring that work is carried out according to SOP, PPE, and the appropriate tools to prevent workplace accidents.
• Evaluating plans, work procedures, electrical documents, use of measuring instruments and potential work hazards to improve the quality of work that is more effective, efficient and safe.
• Coordinating routine inspections of the electrical grid safety system and analyze the operational characteristics of the grid so that it meets operational needs.
• Coordinating the evaluation of routes, types and conditions of repair work to be carried out to improve the quality of work more effectively, efficiently and safely.
• Evaluating maintenance or repair data and documentating into CMMS data to complete the equipment maintenance data history.
• Coordinating the inspection, testing and troubleshooting of electrical network equipment to assist the implementation of repair activities.
• Making improvements to assets that are the scope of work.
• Initiate the procurement process of goods or services related to the electrical network safety system.
• Integrating the protection scheme of power plants, transmission-distribution networks, and with existing systems at consumers so as to achieve reliable operations.
• Perform archives of protection settings on a regular basis.
• Analyze the protection settings for each distribution point on a regular basis or whenever there are new plans or changes.
• Provide recommendations to the Engineering Department regarding electrification design.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) graduate majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Maintenance / Electrical Supervisor.
• Have good knowledge about Electrical Maintenance, Electric Transmission & Distribution, Grid Analysis / ETAP, Instrumentation & Control Maintenance, IT, Maintenance Planning, and Safety Management.
• Good command in English both verbal and written.
• Good communication, coordination and time management skill.
• Willing to be based in Tanjung - Tabalong, South Kalimantan.
