Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking or assisting the team in technical-related activities.
  • Providing technical support, consulting, training and in-house R&D project services for one or more of the below-mentioned sectors/disciplines.
  • Initiating and driving technical/marketing/customer-care initiatives in line with the business goals.
  • Maintain close relationship with customers to ensure continuing contracts/services.

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You possess a recognized degree in Optical Engineering, Optical Sciences, Applied Physics, or related field, with at least two years of relevant industrial experience in optical design/engineering.
  • You possess strong knowledge in optical theory.
  • You possess an understanding of and ability to apply computer-aided engineering (CAE) analyses and solutions, in solving industrial problems.
  • You possess experience with commercial optical design software such as Zemax, Speos, Code V, LightTools, LucidShape, Quadoa Optical CAD, FRED, TracePro, OSLO, KrakenOS, RayOptics, COMSOL, or equivalent

It would be helpful if:

You possess knowledge and experience in one or more industry sectors below:

o Aerospace and Defence

o Automotive and Lighting

o Autonomy and Sensing

o Biological and Medical

o Electronics

o Manufacturing

You possess capabilities and experience in any of the following:

o Familiarity with Ansys SpaceClaim, Fluent, Mechanical, Lumerical etc

o Experience with programming in Matlab, Python, C++ or C#

o Experience with opto-mechanical system design
