Job Description:
- Leading the demand planning function within the organization, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment of supply and demand.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
- Utilize advanced forecasting techniques and tools to improve forecast accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Identify and mitigate risks of overstocking or stock outs by adjusting forecasts and recommending corrective actions.
- Analyze demand patterns, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Drive process improvements within the demand planning function, leveraging best practices and technology.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field within the supply chain. Previous leadership experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with inventory forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization techniques.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
