Operational Manager – Property Management (Canggu)

Are you an experienced and dynamic professional with a passion for real estate development searching for a fresh career opportunity? One of Bali’s buzzing property management groups is looking for an Operational Manager to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel management, property management, or villa management. They should possess excellent leadership skills and a proven ability to oversee daily operations across multiple properties, ensuring efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction. The candidate will have solid experience in managing teams, budgeting, and maintaining property standards, while also being capable of addressing operational challenges swiftly and effectively.

Requirements :

  • Open for local candidates.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in a 3 to 5-star hotel or at a multi-property level, such as Duty Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, Hotel Manager, or Operations Supervisor.
  • Having a background in hotels is ideal, though experience in property or villa management is also preferred.
  • Speaks and writes excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia. Another language is a bonus .
  • Hard-working individual and very good time management abilities and organisation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the staff, guests, and management.
  • Familiar with most OTA's and channel managers.
  • Available to work full-time ASAP and guest oriented minded.
  • Attention to detail skills are a must.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage the team on a day-to-day basis to ensure delivery of the very best possible quality and customer service.
  • First response for guest complaints where staff request assistance.
  • Assist team with issues with community/neighbors with support from all HOD in all aspects of running the operations.
  • Monitor the coordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations. Support and work with all heads of Departments in all aspects of running the operations.
  • Assist in conducting regular operations team meetings with all the HOD daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, action taken for service recovery, and also any staff issues. Minutes of the meeting are to be sent to the GM.
  • Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks inspecting all departments for SOP implementation.
  • Monitor the purchase/indent/requisitions of each department.
  • Inspecting all departments for cleanliness, ambiance, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
  • Meet all Dept. Heads to review & train the staff. Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.
  • Be available on call to resolve any urgent problems in emergencies.
  • Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the properties.
  • Source and screen new operational employees.
  • Support for roster optimisation and adjustment in case of emergency (sick leaves, resignation).
  • Support/cover Reservation & Guest relation team as required.
  • Any other duties assigned by the General Manager.
