  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Join our team as a Microbiologist Researcher to be part of innovative exploration of mycelium materials and edible mushroom development. You will conduct experiments, prototype solutions, and ensure product quality through rigorous testing and compliance with industry standards. What will you do:

  • Research and Development: Conduct thorough research on mycelium materials exploration, edible mushroom development and spawn standardization. Design and execute research experiments, studies, and tests to explore new concepts and validate hypotheses.
  • ⁠Reports and Documentations: Prepare comprehensive reports, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and project status to Team Leader.
  • ⁠Quality Control: Establish and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and reliability of products.
  • ⁠Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept from lab up to pilot scale to assess the properties, feasibility and performance.
  • ⁠Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as product development, engineering, and design, to ensure material specifications meet product requirements.
  • ⁠Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze experimental data, and prepare detailed reports to document findings, improvements, and recommendations of intellectual property.
  • ⁠Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • ⁠Identify and collaborate with procurement and suppliers for raw materials and other resources necessary for cultivation and material production.
  • ⁠Support projects in other department (if needed and limited support only)

Requirements:

  • ⁠A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biology, microbiology, biotechnology, materials science, chemistry or related disciplines
  • ⁠Minimum 2 years of hands-on research experience in a lab setting, particularly in fields like materials science, microbiology, or related fields
  • ⁠Experience with mycelium cultivation, fungal biology, or biomaterial development is highly desirable
  • ⁠Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing processes
  • ⁠Fundamental microbiology techniques
  • ⁠Experimental design, data analysis, statistics and scientific reporting.
  • ⁠Intellectual property knowledge
