Responsibilities

  • Audit Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans, including risk assessments, audit scopes, objectives, and methodologies. Lead audit engagements, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and feedback throughout the audit process. Ensure that audit work is completed in accordance with professional standards and internal policies.
  • Internal Control Evaluation: Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in mitigating risks. Identify control weaknesses, areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all audit activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal risk management strategies. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans. Present audit findings to senior management, and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and methodologies. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the payment services sector.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate effective audit processes and foster a culture of risk awareness and control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in internal auditing within the payment services industry.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory requirements specific to the payment services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management abilities, and the capacity to lead and develop a team.
