Job Summary:

The E-commerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the online sales platforms to drive revenue growth and enhance the customer experience. This role involves overseeing online merchandising, content management, digital marketing, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure the success of the e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing strategies, and experience working with online marketplaces and retail platforms.

A. Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Platform Management:

  • Manage and update product listings, descriptions, pricing, and promotions across various e-commerce platforms (e.g., Tiktok Shop, Tokopedia, Shopee, Blibli, etc.).
  • Ensure all online content is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
  • Oversee the online store's day-to-day operations, including order processing, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Implement A/B testing for product titles, descriptions, and creatives to identify the most effective combinations.

Digital Marketing and Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Implement strategies to increase customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage KOLs for product launches, brand campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive KOL strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with design teams to create visual assets and compelling copy for digital campaigns.
  • Monitor trends and generate creative content ideas to engage with the audience.

Merchandising and User Experience:

  • Create and manage promotional campaigns, discounts, and special offers to boost sales.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to enhance website aesthetics, usability, and overall customer experience.
  • Engage with online communities, respond to inquiries, and increase brand visibility and engagement.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, sales performance, and customer behavior.
  • Use data insights to optimize product listings, marketing campaigns, and overall e-commerce strategy.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting areas of success and improvement.
  • Stay updated with e-commerce trends, tools, and best practices by attending industry events, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract potential leads and guide them through the sales funnel.

Customer Service and Order Fulfillment:

  • Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and returns to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate order processing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve post-purchase experiences and reduce cart abandonment rates.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in the development and management of the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor spending on marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.

B. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of managing successful e-commerce campaigns and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, etc) and online marketplaces (e.g., Tiktok Shop, Tokopedia, Shopee, etc).
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, AdWords, and social media advertising.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
