About The Customer

The customer, established 15 years ago, specializes in developing and commercializing integrated civil engineering and infrastructure project solutions. Since 1999, they have secured over 150 projects in Indonesia and Malaysia. They excel in sewerage network and pipe laying works, sewerage treatment plants, bridge and road construction, and more, using techniques like the Open Trench and Trenchless Methods.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction/Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be working under the guidance of a Project Manager and will play a critical role in coordinating various aspects of the construction process

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the construction team, including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints, reporting progress to the Project Manager.
• Ensure that all materials and equipment are available and in good condition for the smooth execution of the project.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and the Project Manager.
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being completed to the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction/Site Manager, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: highways, roads, drainage systems, or pipe installations.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team with good english.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications or licenses in construction management or a related area are an asset.
