Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible for assembling part for Jabil manufactured assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform routine assembly process refer to the process plan
  • Ensure the conformity of part after assembly process
  • Fill the required document during assembly process
  • Transfer assembled part to the next process and fill the transfer form
  • Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.
  • Work direction may additionally be communicated verbally through visual aids and set-up sheets.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge Requirements

  • Knowledge about measuring tools and GD&T
  • Knowledge about reading engineering-drawing/blueprint is preferred
  • Knowledge about FOD
  • Knowledge about assembly and marking methods (e.g press bushing, press spring, marking laser, marking electrical, etc.)
  • Knowledge about in-process inspection

Minimum Requirements

  • Vocational high school or equivalent required
  • At six months to one-year experience
  • Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
