Role:

Food Service and Cold Chain Director provides overall management of the food services and cold chain Department: Ensures that food service operates within corporate office and centers guidelines and is in compliance with OSHA and Food Law (Law No 18/2012), the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MOEF), and local sanitation and health guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation and adherence to specific Federal, State, and Company sanitation guidelines

• Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing, and distribution of frozen food and related products

• Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars

• Develop merchandising and marketing strategies and tactics that will increase sales and margin for the Food Service Department

• Analyze and prepare reports on expenditures, communicate competitive Market Intelligence

• Inspecting food storage rooms, for upkeep, supply, and infection control

• Reviewing all temperature documentation of freezers, and refrigerators, to ensure the freshness of the food

• Lead the development and execution of our food strategy, working closely with key stakeholders to get their input and buy-in

• Make company food best in class while achieving our total store sales and profit plans

• Establishes Vendor and Inventory Management processes that maximize supplier performance and minimize supply chain costs

• Manages strategies of development for the entire Food Service and Cold Chain department

• Implementation of departmental offerings including product selection, product development, and overall market strategies

• Negotiates and executes weekly ad flyer sales and specific company programs

• Provides forecasting information that ensures exceptional in-stock performance for meeting market demand.

• Champions assortment and pricing optimization processes that increase sales/margin while reducing inventory

• Provides creative input in support of new merchandising and marketing initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Restaurant Management, Management, Culinary, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, or other related field.

• WSQ Certificate in Food Services (If any)

• Must demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of food service operation

• Ability to organize, execute, and monitor sales plans

• 10-12 years of upscale food service and cold chain experience, including 8 years at the management level

• Managing multi-unit experience preferred

• Experience in Food purchasing, food costs, and inventory control

• Knowledge of ISO23412:2020 and JSA-S1004:2020
