Role Description

PT. Yamato Indonesia Forwarding is seeking a full-time, on-site Supervisor/Assistant Manager level Sales to join our team in Tangerang HQ (Cengkareng Airport Area). This person will be responsible for:

1. Understanding the Yamato way & system according to what both Yamato group and Yamato Indonesia Forwarding do.

2. Bringing prospected target, namely >100 companies (including the PIC contact info)

3. Finding new targeted accounts and making cold calls as Sales, and also getting appointment(s) with them

4. Having a thorough comprehension about their their supply chain and finding the opportunity that we can propose

5. Securing brand new customer where the gross profit amount is more than monthly salary

6. Promoting and selling our services to potential and existing clients as well as to maintain and expand the relationships with them

7. Developing sales strategies in order to achieve sales targets

8. Creating quotations and managing negotiations

Qualifications

1. >5 years experience as a Sales in Forwarding/Warehousing or Logistics/Domestic Transportation industry

2. Familiarity in handling Dangerous Goods, oversized cargo via Sea Freight is a great plus point

3. Strong connection with shipping lines and co-loaders is more desirable

4. Someone with less number of job changes is preferable

5. Creative, honest, active, friendly, diligent

6. Ability to work independently and within a team

7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

9. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both oral and written (your direct Superior will be an English speaker and have to communicate daily)
