Position Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Relationship Officer at PasarMIKRO located in Bali. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Relationship Officer to join our team.

This role involves traveling to rural areas, engaging with smallholder farmers, managing and growing customer relationships, providing financial advice, and assisting in projects with clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and/or MSME finance, excellent communication skills and project management, and a passion for improving the livelihoods of farmers. As a Relationship Officer, you will be reporting to the Sales and Outreach Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Field Engagement:

  1. Travel to various rural locations to meet with smallholder farmers.
  2. Conduct one-on-one and group sessions to educate farmers about our products and services.
  3. Demonstrate product usage and benefits through practical, hands-on demonstrations.

Relationship Building:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with smallholder farmers and local farming communities.
  2. Understand the unique needs and challenges faced by farmers and tailor your approach accordingly.

Product Promotion:

Promote our products and solutions to farmers, traders, and cooperatives.

Training and Support:

  1. Provide continuous education and support to farmers on product usage and best practices.
  2. Gather feedback from farmers to improve our product & services.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role involving fieldwork and project management.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of agricultural practices and challenges faced by smallholder farmers.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly and understandably.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to rural areas..
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in local languages is highly desirable.
