As a Sales Manager for our client digital marketing agency, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our client base by promoting and selling our digital marketing services, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and web development. You will lead the sales team, develop strategies to meet revenue goals, and manage relationships with key clients. Your role will be crucial in scaling our business and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
    • Identify target markets and potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create aligned sales and marketing campaigns.
    • Analyze client needs and market trends to tailor service offerings effectively.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building:
    • Lead the effort to acquire new clients by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and delivering compelling sales pitches.
    • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing appropriate digital marketing solutions.
    • Prepare and present proposals to clients, highlighting how the agencys digital marketing services can drive business growth.
    • Build trust and rapport with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Team Leadership:
    • Manage, train, and mentor the sales team, ensuring individual and team targets are met.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Set sales goals, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve success.
    • Lead by example in client meetings, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:
    • Manage the sales pipeline through CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and lead conversions.
    • Track all sales activities, maintain accurate records of client communications, and report on sales progress.
    • Regularly provide senior management with updates on pipeline status and sales performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing, strategy, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience from sales to project execution.
    • Ensure client requirements are effectively communicated to internal teams and that project delivery meets client expectations.
    • Collaborate on the development of custom marketing solutions to address client needs.
  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, identifying opportunities for new services or improvement.
    • Conduct competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
    • Gather feedback from clients to help improve service offerings and client satisfaction.


Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales digital marketing agency or related field with at least 2 years manage people experience
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
    • Experience managing a sales team and scaling revenue growth.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of digital marketing services, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, and web development.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to understand client needs and recommend tailored digital marketing solutions.
    • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a sales team.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting software.
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Existing relationships or a network of contacts in the digital marketing industry.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in digital marketing, such as AI, automation, and analytics.
