Job Summary
We are seeking an intern to join our Fruit Farm Acquisition team. This role is crucial for helping the team in identifying and acquiring fruit farms that align with our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential fruit farm acquisitions.
- Assist and support the team in evaluating farmer's properties for quality and viability, including soil and irrigation assessments.
- Assist and support the team in negotiating purchase terms and prepare contracts to secure favorable acquisition deals.
- Assist and support the team in overseeing due diligence processes, including inspections and technical specs reviews.
- Assist and support the team in developing and implementing integration plans for newly acquired farms.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the acquisition process.
Qualifications
- Final year bachelor student OR high school diploma graduate with background in agricultural science/operation/engineering.
- Has prevous exposure and/or experience with fruit farming operations is preferred.
- Ability to travel frequently to evaluate potential acquisitions.
