Job Description:

As the Product Owner for the RecruitABLE App, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and success of our platform. You will work closely with the CEO, Director of Engineering, and the development team to ensure that the app aligns with our strategic goals and delivers an exceptional user experience. Your primary responsibility will be to translate the CEO’s vision into actionable development tasks, prioritize features, and manage the product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual who is passionate about product management and has a deep understanding of app development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Collaborate closely with the CEO to understand the strategic goals for the app, and translate these into a clear product roadmap and vision.
• Feature Prioritization: Work with the Director of Engineering to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Backlog Management: Create and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-organized, up-to-date, and reflects the priorities set by the CEO and stakeholders.
• User Story Creation: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team in building features that meet the desired functionality and quality standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO, development team, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the development process.
• Release Planning: Oversee the release planning process, coordinating with the development team to ensure that features are delivered on time and meet the company’s quality standards.
• Market & User Research: Conduct market research and gather user feedback to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Flutter & Next.js Expertise: Leverage your knowledge in Flutter and Next.js to guide the development team in building efficient, scalable, and high-performance PWA applications.
• App Deployment: Manage the deployment process for both Google Play and iOS App Stores, ensuring smooth and timely releases.
• Quality Assurance: Work with the QA team to ensure that all features are thoroughly tested and meet the highest standards of quality before release.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve the app and enhance the user experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a strong background in mobile app development and deployment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Flutter, Next.js, and PWA applications is required.
• Deployment Experience: Proven experience in deploying apps on Google Play and iOS App Stores.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering user-centric solutions.
• Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to successful completion.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
