Job Overview:

As the Project Management Superintendent, you will oversee a comprehensive mining program across more than 10 pits, managing up to 8 external contractors. The role involves handling complex projects in a multicultural environment, leading teams, and ensuring high standards of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management, including contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation in both Bahasa and English, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Lead project cost tracking and reporting, managing Month End close, invoicing, and progress claims.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Continuously improve project control processes and manage cost code allocations and databases.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and external parties to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

Complexity Factors:

  • Mining program across 10+ pits and 8 external contractors.
  • Drilling program for exploration and grade control with 5 contractors.
  • Expansion of infrastructure with up to 2 contractors.
  • Multicultural environment requiring communication in various languages (Bahasa, Mandarin, English).
  • Remote living with a 6/2 roster for Superintendent levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Commerce.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial/construction/resource industries.
