Head of Planning and Materials

The Head of Planning and Materials is responsible for the development, negotiation, and implementation of supply chain tactics to optimize product availability and maximize service levels in support of our sales Organization. He/she will work closely with our Sales Business Operations team and Manufacturing Operations being accountable for the product delivery commitments. This role requires a professional with a track record of success in supply chain planning, Manufacturing Planning, inventory management, and logistics. The successful candidate must have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, must be able to work cooperatively in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment and be the owner of an outstanding accountability behavior. The Head of Planning and Materials should be highly organized, detail and facts oriented, able to work independently as well as part of a team, resilient and capable to manage ambiguity without losing self or team focus, a good influencer and conflict manager completes the ideal candidate profile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and execute an integrated demand and supply plan to meet business expectations, inventory targets, and cost objectives.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled at the required date.
• Cooperate with Sales Business Operations, Global Planning, Logistics, and Manufacturing Operations teams to ensure supply meets Business demand requirements.
• Develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business objectives are meat.
• Support operations in the process off resolving materials shortages, allocations and escalations as required.
• Establish and monitor metrics to measure Supply and Delivery performance, develop and implement appropriate actions to close gaps.
• Analyze daily supply and demand gaps and develop appropriate actions to close gaps.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Analyze and respond to Sales Business Operations service issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor supply chain activities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Analyze data and develop reports to effectively communicate performance to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related areas.
• 5+ years of proven experience Managing Supply chain planning or Manufacturing operations Planning in the Technology Industry, Telecommunication industry would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English, Spanish would be a plus.
• Full domain of Microsoft Office Package.
