Overview

We are looking for an expert in Commercials who will be managing the strategy for a product category (Food and Beverage), and responsible for pricing, planning, and marketing of products to increase sales and profitability.

Job Description

As our Astronaut, you will be doing:

  • Drive the development & execution of category strategies that deliver customer growth.
  • Leading together with cross-functional teams in the technical evaluation, supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management.
  • Developing and implementing brand partnership strategies with retailers to achieve the targets.
  • Manage the commercial deployment and sustaining of Strategic Revenue Management and guide the annual allocation of commercial investments across channels/customers.
  • Analyzing insight into industry and consumer trends and turning insight into actionable category recommendations.
  • Manage category/channel level monthly operating plan status of key business metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and gaps.
  • Create forecasts for product demand to ensure inventory sustainability.
  • Create and deliver monthly sales performance report
  • Lead team to ensure the total category growth meanwhile as well managing one of the top global brands as well
  • Responsible for overall team management, including hiring, goal setting and delegation of work, training and development, coaching/mentoring, and completing performance evaluations

Job Requirements

In order to launch successfully, you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales, or Account Management.
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in Category management in the e-Commerce or FMCG industry including managerial role.
  • Having extensive knowledge of consumer needs and retail environments (FMCG Food)
  • Solid knowledge of marketing and sales principles.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of sourcing methodologies.
  • Having a strong business acumen.
  • Highly motivated and energetic, able to grow quickly, and able to work under pressure (high energy)
  • Strong demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills to lead.
  • Good communication skills, presentation skills, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
