We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team and lead our mission of nurturing lifelong learners across Indonesia. As COO, you will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in steering the company towards achieving its annual goals, including revenue growth, profitability, and an exceptional student experience.

What You Will Be Doing

Sales & Marketing Leadership:

  • Achieve monthly sales targets by setting and executing data-driven sales strategies.
  • Lead Area Managers to meet both sales and customer experience goals.
  • Develop and implement robust marketing initiatives and promotions to drive revenue.

People Development:

  • Formulate and execute hiring strategies to build a high-performing team.
  • Coach and develop middle managers to become effective leaders.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to service and grooming standards across the organization.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and cascade mid-term commercial strategies across sales, marketing, and student experience functions.
  • Drive effective merchandising, pricing strategies, and brand performance.

Expansion & Innovation:

  • Lead the launch of new centers and products by managing feasibility studies, site selection, and project execution.
  • Identify and develop complementary revenue opportunities, bringing innovative solutions to market.

Corporate Sales:

  • Lead the corporate solutions team, executing strategies based on a Key Account Management model.
  • Innovate products and offerings to meet the needs of key clients, driving corporate sales growth.

Your Profile

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of extensive leadership experience in sales, marketing, and operations, ideally within the education or service industry.
  • Sales Achievement: Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2C environment. Experience with key account management models is advantageous.
  • Commercial Strategy: Skilled in developing and executing commercial strategies, including pricing, merchandising, and marketing initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Proficient in analyzing performance metrics and CRM data to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Experience and familiarity with CRM platforms to optimize customer interactions and drive business growth (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is preferred.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects, including product or location launches. Strong organizational skills with a focus on execution.
  • International Experience: Experience working in international or multicultural environments is valuable.
  • Language Skills: High proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Industry Experience: Background in the education or related service industry is a significant advantage.
  • Advanced Degree: An MBA or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Market Familiarity: Knowledge of the Indonesian market or similar, especially within the education sector, is a strong plus.
  • Passion for Education: An affinity for education and languages, with an understanding of their role in personal growth.
