Job Description: Business Development (All Level Positions)
The Business Development representative will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth objectives by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Business Development team. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who can work closely with various departments to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Understanding Company Vision and Goals:
- Comprehend and align with the company's vision, mission, values, culture, and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
- Ensure that personal and team activities contribute to achieving the company’s strategic objectives.
2. Business Opportunity Identification:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and analysis of industry trends.
- Support in business mapping to understand market potential and growth projections.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Assist in meeting and building relationships with existing and potential clients, focusing on creating business opportunities.
- Maintain and update client information, ensuring a strong and healthy client database.
4. Sales Support and Reporting:
- Produce and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and projections to support the decision-making process at the C-level.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales data to the Business Development Manager and other stakeholders.
5. Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with the Operations, Project, and HR teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to daily team reports.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Assist in managing stakeholders for various projects and business purposes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Provide support in communicating with stakeholders to ensure project success.
7. Sales Target Achievement:
- Contribute to forecasting sales targets and assist in developing strategies to meet these targets.
- Help maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools like HubSpot.
8. Personal and Team Development:
- Participate in weekly 1-on-1 meetings with managers to discuss personal and team growth, focusing on improving sales performance.
- Seek continuous personal development to enhance business development skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced work culture.
