About The Role

To develop and implement marketing and sales strategy for Vaccine business in order to meet Vaccine BU objectives

How You Will Contribute

  • To develop and implement dengue vaccine marketing strategy or brand plan and to ensure the achievement of marketing objectives through marketing marketing campaign and omnichannel strategies
  • To allocate resources and guide cross functional team to execute marketing strategy and activities in HCPs, Medical association and Point of Sales in alignment with Key Vaccine Business Unit Priorities
  • Identify new business opportunities, advance proposals, and anticipate initiatives to drive dengue vaccine growth and maximize opportunities across the main customer groups and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong network and partnership with HCPs, Medical Societies, HCOs and Consumers to build strong partnership with key stakeholders based on latest information and dynamics of market updates on dengue vaccine, through CME (Symposia, RTD, PP, etc) to train and boost confidence on current and emerging HCPs
  • Providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise, and health care professional engagement plan and support sales team to deliver sales objectives
  • Responsible for revenue growth, lifecycle management, forecasting of revenue and OpEx for Dengue Vaccine, and ensuring the realization of profitability targets in country.
  • Responsible for dengue vaccine project management of cross-functional team ensuring successful implementation on strategic plans
  • Matrix management & leadership to ensure optimal decision making between Global, GEM, LOC, and local cross functional brand team for effective support and agile decision-making processes.
  • To regularly perform market and competitive analysis by customer segment and recommend strategies in order to improve market position, improve quality, impact and generate new initiatives that need to be changed to meet customer needs and liaise with other areas of the organization to implement those changes.
  • Prepare sales forecast and budget; monitor sales volume, revenues, and cost against forecast; and adapt plans to improve the sales performance dengue vaccine

What You Bring To Takeda

  • Min. Bachelor degree in science (Pharmacy, Medical Doctors and related), MBA is desired
  • Min. 5 years of marketing and sales experience in vaccine business, including solid 3 years in product marketing/brand management and product launch.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing strategy and communications.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills..
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to understand and translate market and competitive dynamics into strategic implications for the Business.
  • Project leadership, managing complex workstreams and teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets.
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills to address Country Leadership Team, Regional Teams and external audiences.
  • Good understanding of finance and P&L implications Ability to work with complex information, uncertainty and distil into a framework that helps facilitate decision making.
  • Experience in Field or Sales activities is a plus.
  • Advanced command of English language, spoken and written.
