Job Description
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including logistics, planning, and inventory control.
- Work closely with the commercial team to forecast future supply chain needs.
- Facilitate inter-company transfers between plant, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Monitor and evaluate the team's performance, taking corrective actions as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop a strategic plan to optimise the supply chain processes, focusing on customer satisfaction and cost reduction.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure proper product rotation and maximise working capital.
- Coordinates the sourcing and procurement of materials to meet changing product demand.
- Collaborate with transportation providers and the procurement team to optimise routes, rates, and freight practices, and review and approve freight agreements.
- Ensure that the workplace complies with environmental regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or other related field
- Minimum 5 years of managerial position in Supply Chain or other relevant roles
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise, adaptability, analytic skills
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Have experience in handling customs
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
