Senior IT Business Analyst (010908)

Our customer, one of the biggest insurance companies, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst, supervisor role:

Job Summary:

Supports the development and configuration of applications by understanding the requirements of customers and recommending application performance improvements, to ensure alignment with business requirements.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities:

1. Understands the customers' processes and products, and how they fit within the goals of the overall function
2. Engage with the solution architect to review and validate the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements and validate estimates provided by the suppliers
3. Produce an estimate for the level of effort and cost of new application functionality and perform quality review checks on project deliverables
4. Collaborate on and review the documentation of specifications and act as liaison between the business and IT
5. Participate in implementation activities, troubleshoot system environmental issues and provide training as required
6. Respond to application problem tickets as required

Requirements:

1. 4 years of experience and/or at a supervisory level in related field (IT Business Analyst, IT System Analyst, Functional Consultant, and Digital Business Analyst)
2. Proficient in English
3. Detail-oriented with strong logical thinking skills
4. Willingness to take ownership of highly challenging tasks and problems
5. Possesses a strong sense of leadership
