About the Company
PT Nojorono Tobacco International is one of the pioneering cigarette companies in Indonesia, initiated by Mr. Tjoa Kang Hay who appointed his two sons-in-law, Mr. Ko Djee Siong and Mr. Tan Djing Thay. As the business progressed, the company was officially established on October 14, 1932, and headquartered in Kudus City, Central Java. Currently, Nojorono Kudus ranks fifth in the category of the largest cigarette industry in Indonesia.
PT Nojorono Tobacco International is known as the owner of the Minak Djinggo brand, which was launched in 1932. Minak Djinggo pioneered the innovation of Hand-Rolled Clove Cigarettes (SKT). Minak Djinggo has endured in the SKT industry to this day and is quite well-known among farmers and fishermen. The company's next breakthrough was the launch of Clas Mild, an LTLN (Low Tar Low Nicotine) product in 2003. Within two and a half years, Clas Mild established itself as a preferred low-tar and nicotine filter clove cigarette (LTLN) among consumers, becoming the best filter clove cigarette product in Indonesia.
