Indorama Corporation stands as a prominent chemical company in Asia, with its roots dating back to 1975 when Indorama Synthetics was established in Indonesia by founder M.L. Lohia and his son, S.P. Lohia. Initially focused on cotton yarn spinning, the company expanded into polyester fibers production from petrochemical derivatives in 1991, and later into PET resins manufacturing.
Today, headquartered in Singapore, Indorama Corporation manufactures a diverse range of products including nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, textiles, cotton fiber, and medical gloves. We hold the title of the largest producer of urea and phosphate fertilizers in Sub-Saharan Africa, the largest producer of polyolefins in West Africa, and the third largest producer of synthetic gloves globally. Additionally, we are an integrated producer of cotton and synthetic spun yarns.
