About the Company
Citilink Indonesia has emerged as Indonesia's fastest-growing airline since 2011, undergoing substantial expansion with the introduction of its first Airbus A320 as part of Garuda Group's push to compete vigorously in the budget traveler sector. Initially established as a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia, Citilink Indonesia's shareholder composition consisted of 67% PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. and 33% PT Aerowisata. Following changes in capital structure in 2012, the shareholding shifted to 94.3% Garuda and 5.7% Aerowisata.
Under the management of Garuda Indonesia's Strategic Business Unit from May 2011, Citilink Indonesia operated under Garuda's AOC and utilized Garuda flight numbers. With the transition to independent operations in July 2012, marked by the attainment of necessary licenses and certificates, including the flight license SIUAU/NB-027 and flight certificate AOC 121-046, the airline adopted the IATA flight code "QG," ICAO designation "CTV," and call sign "Supergreen." Citilink Indonesia envisions becoming a world-class Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) with sustainable profitability, aspiring to be the most admired company in Indonesia, and aims to enhance people's lives through reliable air transportation infused with Indonesian hospitality.
